TEDx Event Organizing Team – Roles and Responsibilities
1. Leonel Mathew – Lead Organizer
Manages the executive team and oversees the entire event.
Ensures compliance with TEDx guidelines and standards.
Oversees the event’s vision and holds the primary license.
2. Dr. Sajid Shameem – Co-organizer
Shares responsibilities with the Lead Organizer.
Assists in overall decision-making.
Ensures timelines are met and encourages teamwork.
3. Mohammad Aazim N and Leyasri S – Student Co-leads
Support the Lead Organizer in managing tasks.
Help address operational gaps and resolve doubts.
Assist in ensuring smooth event coordination.
4. Ranita Reagan and Yusuf Abbas – Heads of Curation
Select speakers and develop ideas for the event.
Ensure the event theme is reflected consistently in all talks.
5. Affan Shihab and Mohamad Shahil Ameer – Heads of Media and IT
Oversee video production, camera operators, and live streaming.
Manage the website and social media platforms.
Provide technical support for live streaming and recordings.
6. Hishana Manoj and Saja Amina – Executive Producers
Manage event logistics and coordination.
Oversee stage setup, speaker preparation, and technical arrangements.
Manage audience-related arrangements.
7. Akshith PS – Event Producer
Oversees creative and technical aspects, including stage design and audiovisuals.
Manages event-day activities outside the main stage.
Coordinates with the Curators and IT team for smooth event delivery.
8. Adarsh Anil – Creative Director
Oversees the event’s visual identity.
Manages stage design, social media creatives, and visual storytelling.
Maintains brand consistency across all materials.
9. Tomy James – Head of Finance
Manages the event budget and finances.
Raises sponsorship funds to cover event expenses.
Tracks expenditures and prepares financial reports.
10. Hanan Shaher – Head of Public Relations (PR)
Builds and manages the event’s online presence.
Maintains consistent branding and communication.
Develops media relationships and secures event coverage.
